Medicine as lost art

For centuries medicine was described as ars medica – "the medical art", emphasising judgment, close observation, and patient individuality over rigid dogma.

My site details what happens when that art vanishes – trumped by standardisation, blanket protocols, and institutionally mandated guidelines that eclipse the individual.

In true art, the effort is hidden. In this experience – a perfect opportunity to exhibit mastery – all that remains is a juggernaut of hollow authority.
